Randy Sim
Satsun Corporation


Randy Sim is president of Satsun Corporation, a local commercial real estate management and development company. He is serving his first term as City Council Member for Position #2 for the City of Southside Place in Texas. He is vice president of the Airline Improvement District, a special management district in north Houston. The district collects sales tax revenue to assist Harris County for services such as police, parks, water, and sewer services. He is also the Secretary of the Mayor's International Affairs and Development Council.

Mr. Sim is also active in the community and devotes much of his time to numerous organizations. He is the chairman of Asia Houston Network and is a member of the Houston Asian Community Crime Advisory Board. He serves on the board of the Asian Arts Council of the Museum of Fine Arts and is the treasurer of the Asian Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Foundation.

He is the immediate past president of the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves as the senior advisor for Korean American Society of Houston, a 501c3 that organizes the Korea Festival. He is also on the board of directors for the Korean Community Center’s building committee.

Mr. Sim is in the current class of Leadership Houston and has recently been accepted as a Fellow with NetKAL at the University of Southern California. He and his wife, Sue Sim, have 4 children.
